(Thankfully although the Connect programme was closed down due to loss of funding, the artists and staff managed to start a new programme called ReConnect to replace it. Participants now have to pay a fee to attend, the studio is only open part-time, and the tutor is only available in the morning - but it's a huge improvement over nothing!)
